NESTREST transforms your typical garden sofa into a small architectural piece, one that offers you a secluded, suspended sanctuary as it gently rocks you and puts you at ease like a warm embrace. Created by Fred Frety & Daniel Pouzet, two longtime collaborators of DEDON design partner Jean-Marie Massaud,

ORBIT is the original icon of outdoor furniture design. A new typology of loveseat, able to rotate 360° in pursuit of sun, stars or more earthly views, it was a sensation from the moment it launched. Sixteen years on, Richard Frinier’s multiple-award-winning collaboration with DEDON continues to delight, surprise and inspire with its novel design, precision-opening canopy and promise of extraordinary comfort.

KIDA - Stephen Burks’ award-winning collection is as delightful to look at as to use. The hanging lounge chair is the first collection to be wrapped rather than woven in 834 meters of DEDON Fiber Touch, and features a cradle-like organic form that's open, airy, light and inviting. Once inside, users can luxuriate in KIDA's sophisticated cushion, which covers the entire seating area, and feel, in Burks' own words, “as free as the breeze” when swinging.

SWINGREST - Though it shares part of its name and most of its structure with DEDON's iconic NESTREST hanging lounger, the new SWINGREST by Daniel Pouzet is in a class all its own. Borrowing the basket-like bottom from his earlier creation, the NESTREST, he has managed to create an altogether new work that feels even more spacious while seeming to take up less space.

Sebastian Herkner’s award-winning MBRACE collection is beloved for its modern material mix. Combining teak, woven fiber and an optional die-cast aluminum base, MBRACE is more distinct and richer than ever before. The aluminum base—available for wing chairs, armchairs, lounge chairs and matching footstools—expands the collection’s visual language while extending its possibilities.

I wanted to use the traditional technique of weaving to create a strong design that was like a gesture – the gesture of embracing someone.
